The Cisco PXM-45/C Processor/Switch Module for the Cisco MGX 8880 Media Gateway, MGX 8850 and MGX 8950 IP + ATM Multiservice Switches is a combination of ATM switching fabric and processor card. When used in the MGX 8850 or MGX 8880 chassis, the PXM-45/C provides for a 45 Gbps non-blocking switch-fabric and a 1.2 Gbps cell-bus. The switching fabric of the PXM-45/C card is disabled when used in the MGX 8950 chassis.
